The Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg is an annual cycling event that attracts enthusiasts from all walks of It is more than just a cycling event: it’s a celebration of the spirit of Johannesburg. Every year, thousands of cyclists gather to ride through the city’s iconic streets, exploring its rich heritage and vibrant culture.
Participants not only get to enjoy the thrill of cycling but also contribute to various charitable causes that uplift the local communities. It’s an event that unites people with a common goal – to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Empower Youth Through Cycling for Ride for Purpose – Here’s why you should ride for enke. Help us in our work to dent unemployment rate in South Africa.
Our work targets the challenge of numbers of youth not in employment, education or training (NEET) by offering solutions.
By riding for enke, you will help us to:
- Prevent youth from becoming NEET
- Break the continuum of hopelessness with post-school, unemployed youth.
- Assist them to rebuild their self-belief and resilience through training, practical experience and inspiration.
- Inspire and support a bias toward entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.
- Help youth place themselves into employment, education or enterprise.

• 97KM – R 665.00 (Includes 15% VAT and CSA Rider Levy)
• 35KM – R455 (incl 15% VAT and CSA rider levy)
